Sign flippers -I'm not sure what the proper name is for them... it's just such an odd job. They stand on street corners and flip these big signs up in the air and catch them. They are just signs for random businesses or a particular builders homes for sale. As if someone driving by would see it and think "Hey, I should go buy a house from them today".
The crazy lady at Michaels who followed me around the store and asked me 3 different times if she could give my kids a lollipop. Noooooooooooooo! Never take candy from strangers right? Isn't that the first thing all Mommies warn their kids about?
The man at Target who tried to give my kids popcorn without even asking me. Nooooooo, not after you've touched it all with your dirty fingers and those same fingers were in your mouth. So Gross!!!
Martin Luther King Street- I was afraid for my life and was about to run a red light so I could get the heck outta there. When we moved to Vegas, Erik said we should get a GPS so we don't have to worry about going down any not so good streets. It was a great idea and I use it all the time. However, when the GPS tells you to go down Martin L. King street ignore it and keep driving until it finds a better route.
The middle aged man playing at the park and going down the slide saying "wheeee"! And no he wasn't there with his kids.
Wal-Mart- The number of toddlers and infants out shopping with their parents at 10 p.m. is ridiculous. And I find it weird that a lot of kids walk around the store in their socks. Also, the man who left his infant in a shopping cart alone while he went to use the bathroom. She was alone for a good 8 minutes at least.
The kids who play in the sand box at the park with socks on and no shoes. Weird.
The mom at the park who was helping her son pee outside when there was a bathroom 10 ft. away. It was a really busy park too.
The number of teens displaying their love for one another at certain parks.
The toddler who was walking around the park with a poopy diaper around his ankle. The mom was completely oblivious to anything going on because she wasn't watching her kids.
I'm sure there will be a part 2 to this list. I can't help but notice these types of things. Although I'm almost positive that nothing (even in Vegas) will top what I saw at the Wal-Mart in New Mexico. There was a lady pushing her toddler in a shopping cart while breast feeding. She was just letting it all hang out. And the kid wasn't really nursing either so nothing was even remotely covered up. How would I explain that one if I had the kids with me? LOL!
