Belated Mother's Day Date

My mom and I had dinner at "Fix" at the Bellagio, and then went to see the show 'O'. It was a fun night and dinner was awesome!

It's not whether you win or lose, it's how you play the game!!!

Father's Day Cupcakes

The kids decorated these beach themed cupcakes for Erik. We weren't able to do much with him today because he's working swings right now. We did go to a birthday party for one of Emily's friends though... her mom didn't realize she planned her daughter's party on Father's Day until after she sent out the invitations. Since Erik was working we were able to go; the kids had a great time.
Happy Father's Day!!!

Last Day Of Preschool!

The kids both got to dress up for their last day of preschool.

It was a circus themed day, so they played games and had a special snack. There was no teaching going on this day, it was really just a fun day to say goodbye to all their friends.

Emmy is really excited to start kindergarten next year. She brought home a perfect report card!

Spencer's class played musical chairs and Mrs. Brenda let Emmy join in. Spencer did really well on his report card too; I can't believe all the things he knows at just 3 years of age.

Rice Krispy Treats

The kids had fun decorating and eating their rice Krispy treats.

Now that they have finished preschool, I'm going to have to start planning more fun activities for them. I'll post their pictures from their last day of preschool soon!

CA Trip (day 4)

We went to the beach for the second time during our trip, but it still wasn't hot enough to go swimming. They got their feet wet, played in the sand, and found a bunch of shells.

CA Trip (days 2 and 3)

We were hoping it would be warm enough for the kids to swim in the ocean, but it was only 68 degrees that day. We still had fun playing in the sand though.

We went to Sea World again; we go there once a year. The kids both fed the dolphins and pet them.

I was shocked when Emmy fed the dolphin those slimy little fish; she doesn't usually touch those kinds of things.

They have a Build-a-Bear type store there now, so we let the kids each pick an animal to stuff and an outfit for them to wear.

It was no surprise when Emmy chose a manatee and a princess dress.

And Spencer, of course, chose a dog and a "Bob the Builder" outfit.

Spencer loved touching the starfish...

...and so did Emmy! I was so proud of her for doing this since she isn't usually one to touch gross stuff; I wouldn't even do it... maybe one day.

Gondola Ride

We were also with the first group of people to see the new show "Blue Horizon". It was really neat; it reminds me of the Cirque du Soleil shows in Vegas.
Very fun day for all!
