Legoland (last day of CA trip)

CA Trip (day 4)

We went to the beach for the second time during our trip, but it still wasn't hot enough to go swimming. They got their feet wet, played in the sand, and found a bunch of shells.

CA Trip (days 2 and 3)

We were hoping it would be warm enough for the kids to swim in the ocean, but it was only 68 degrees that day. We still had fun playing in the sand though.

We went to Sea World again; we go there once a year. The kids both fed the dolphins and pet them.

I was shocked when Emmy fed the dolphin those slimy little fish; she doesn't usually touch those kinds of things.

They have a Build-a-Bear type store there now, so we let the kids each pick an animal to stuff and an outfit for them to wear.

It was no surprise when Emmy chose a manatee and a princess dress.

And Spencer, of course, chose a dog and a "Bob the Builder" outfit.

Spencer loved touching the starfish...

...and so did Emmy! I was so proud of her for doing this since she isn't usually one to touch gross stuff; I wouldn't even do it... maybe one day.

Gondola Ride

We were also with the first group of people to see the new show "Blue Horizon". It was really neat; it reminds me of the Cirque du Soleil shows in Vegas.

Very fun day for all!

Spring Programs

The kids both had their spring programs at preschool last week. Spencer's teacher said she put him right in the middle because he sang so good. He seemed a little shy when he saw all the parents there, but he did a great job and I was very proud of him!!!

Smart little guy got his alphabet crown a few days ago!!! Very impressive!!!

Emily's teacher also said they put her right in the middle because she is a really good singer. She is such a perfectionist at everything she does; I'm so proud of her!!!

Teddy Bear Picnic

The kids both had a teddy bear picnic at preschool; they would have done it outside but the wind was out of control.

Story Time

They all brought stuffed animals from home; Emmy brought her manatee in a princess dress! I guess manatee got hot so Emmy took her dress off; it was really funny though.

Spencer was so happy to see me it was so cute. He brought his Ruffy for the picnic (of course).

I finally got around to taking Spencer's picture in front of the school.
