Happy 3rd Birthday Spencer!

We celebrated Spencer's 3rd birthday a little early so we could do it while we are in MT.

I made him a plane cake this year.

Emmy wasn't really thrilled about the boy toys Spencer got; she is very much into barbies and girly things.

I rented a bouncy house for the day which was really fun for the kids and some adults.

Spencer had a blast wrestling his cousin. These two have had so much fun together the last two weeks.

Pictures at Nana and Papa's House

Nana made Emmy this dress-up outfit from a piece of her wedding dress; the ribbon is from my wedding bouquet.

Emmy LOVES it! She had fun modeling for me today.

Nana also made Spencer this superhero cape. She used fabric from a bridesmaid dress she wore many years ago....

....and added this to the back of it. Spencer always tells me he's "Super Spencer"!

Masks

The kids made masks today just for fun. Emmy's is a butterfly mask...

... and Spencer's is an eagle mask.

Cookies

Emmy and Spencer were my little helpers today in the kitchen.

We made oatmeal chocolate chip cookies for Emmy and oatmeal raisin cookies for Spencer (their favorites).

Emmy was being super silly while Spencer was hard at work.

Dance Pictures and Spencer and His "Boys"

Emmy and the rest of her dance class had their pictures taken today at the studio. I took this picture myself in case the ones they took didn't turn out well. I'm sure they did though because she is all about posing for the camera. Emmy and her class are all kitty cats and will be tap dancing to the song "What's New Pussy Cat" at the recital in a few weeks.

Spencer and his "boys" (he calls them) playing in the bath. He would have stayed in the bath for hours happily playing with these "boys" if I had let him.
